Billing
Barefoot Medicine is a mixed billing clinic.
Dr El private bills.
Dr Andrew, Brett & Troy bulk bill concession card holders, children under 16 and young adults still attending school. All other appointments must be paid for and will attract a Medicare rebate for eligible patients.

Cancellation / Missed Appointments
It is not easy to get a Doctor's appointment and every appointment slot is valuable. If you can not make your appointment please provide 2 hours notice. Failure to provide 2 hours notice or if you miss your appointment there will be a $30 fee added to your account. This fee must be paid prior to your next appointment. Payments can be made via bank deposit or over the phone. Please note, SMS reminders are a courtesy and subject to networks working. Missing your appointment because you did not receive a SMS is not a valid reason. Patients are advised to record their appointments.
Drugs of dependance
Our practitioners will not prescribe S8 drugs or drugs of dependence at a new patient’s first appointment with our practice, nor will they provide prescriptions for these medications at any time in the future without an appointment..
S8 drugs or drugs of dependance are prescribed based on medical conditions and history. If you are making an appointment to discuss S8 drugs or drugs of dependance you will be required to book an extended appointment.
